Visitation Schedule for Ashland County Jail near City of Ashland OH

 

INMATE VISITATION HOURS
(Except Discipline and Max Inmates)

 

A visitor must be checked in one half (1/2) hour before visitation hours are over .

Every visitor who is 16 years old or older must show a valid photo ID.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Listed below are visitation times:

There is only one (1) thirty (30) minute visitation per day for each inmate.

All visitors may go in to the visitation room together.

 

Discipline & Max Inmates

Due to our high inmate population and the changes on how we handle Discipline & Max inmates we are making changes to visitation. Effective Tuesday, Nov 17, 2015, inmates that our housed in Discipline and Max, their visitation hours have changed. Visitation for these inmates will on

    Monday Males 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm 7:30 pm
    Friday Males   8:00 am – 9:00 am 8:30 am

Each inmate will be allowed one visit per day.

 

We DO NOT ALLOW purses, bags, book bags, jackets, coats, hoodies, food, drink, cups, bottles or cans in the visitation rooms.

No inappropriate dress shall be permitted in the Ashland County Jail . The following is considered inappropriate dress: tank tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, muscle T-shirts, see-through, low-cut or provocative tops, wording or pictures on clothing, bare midriffs, short shorts, skirts or dresses above mid-knee. Please abide by these rules; if there is a problem, you will be asked to leave .

 

NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. If you are found with an electronic device on your person, you will be told to leave immediately!

 

No packages are to be sent to an inmate unless authorized by ACSO.

 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT: Cash, newspapers, stamps, envelopes or cigarettes. This is a non-smoking building. Also we DO NOT ACCEPT mail, pictures or cards. These items must be mailed.

 

WE WILL ACCEPT: White underwear, t-shirts and socks – WHITE only and only four (4) each. These itemsmust have the inmate’s first and last name on each item in permanent marker.

Religious materials including Bibles are accepted.

Books and magazines are also accepted but will be donated to the jail library.
