How do I bond someone out of jail?
Option A) Bond: You may pay the full amount of the bond through Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Money Order, made payable to the “Brevard County Clerk of Courts”.
For Cash or Credit card, you may use Western Union or GovPay:
- Western Union – Go to a Western Union Office with Cash or Credit Card. Call Western Union at 1-800-325-6000 or go to www.WesternUnion.com/corrections. For Commissary, give the code city of BREVCOINMATE. For Bail/Bond, give the Code City BREVCOBAIL. Both code cities will require the Inmate’s full name (Last, First) and date of birth.
- GovPay – Go to www.GovernmentPayment.com on the Web, call 1-888-561-7888, or visit the Jail Complex to complete on-site paperwork. You will need to provide our PLC (Pay Location Code), which is 6346. Depositors need a CID number and Inmate’s full name (Last, First).
Option B) Purge: This denotes a delinquent court ordered payment. You may pay the full amount of the purge through Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Money Order, made payable to the “Brevard County Clerk of Courts”.
Option C) Bail Bonding Agents: Please refer to the phone book to select a bail bond agent of your choice. They will explain all details of this process to you at that time. BY LAW, WE CANNOT RECOMMEND A BONDING AGENCY.
How long will it take to bond someone out?
